Who am I?

HELLO EVERYONE, my name is Emily Radtke. I’m from a town near Fort Worth, Texas, called Keller. I am currently a junior at Texas State University. I’m majoring in Digital Media with a concentration of production and minoring in media studies. I don’t know what career I have in store for myself, but I can only hope its full of photography/film and traveling. I spend most of my free time with the people I love the most and dreaming about my next vacation. (Is there a major for just taking vacations?? I wish)

I grew up traveling with my family all over the United States, and when I got older, I didn’t stop. My parents always told me that presents and gifts would end up at our local goodwill, but memories of traveling will last a life time. They were right, I remember many of our family trips growing up, but I honestly couldn’t tell you what I got for Christmas two years ago. When I was ten I begged to use my aunt’s fancy camera to take pictures of everyone, I would dress my younger cousins up and have a mini photoshoot with them. I have always loved to capture happy moments in my life because its something I can always look back at and remember those times. I’m a firm believer that we should always live our life to the fullest because we never know what tomorrow brings us. There have been many times I book a ticket on a credit card and figure out the money later because money will always come back, but time may not.

I’m writing this blog for a class that I’m in; it honestly doesn’t feel like a grade because its something that I love. In my blog I hope that I can help you find your next go-to restaurant when you’re out traveling, or tell you about a place you have to visit, I also want to share some of the trick and tips I use for when I am traveling because trust me I’m on a college student budget. I’m so excited to take on this journey with yall, buckle up it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
